We DID it!!! The 55th Mum Run was a success.
Mum A Thon Recap:
* 100% of our membership participated in race planning and or set up, donated, event day + break down
* We learned about the race on August 30, 2024 - planned for this race in 6 weeks - amazing!
* We had 266 run/walkers
* We made $276 on the raffle
* We made $90 selling the previous year's shirts
* We do not have an accurate number for revenue yet as checks are still coming in and bills are being paid
Tom said it well, "as an observer, everyone did a fantastic job, the reception went well, there was joy in the room, everyone pitched in and I was glad to be there"
* Tom sold 12 ornaments at the race, 97 left to sell
ACTION ITEM: Create a sign for City True Value. Members are asked to sell 3-4 to family + friends - Thanksgiving is a good time. A short article should be sent to the press
ACTION ITEM: We will plan a day to pick up large wooden signs
