Scholarship Fund Update: A Remarkable Group of Scholars

This year's group of scholarship recipients was one of the most diverse and inspiring we’ve ever seen. From football players who double as dancers to siblings both earning state championships in their respective age groups, the talent was truly exceptional. We also met a sibling that is already a standout freshman, showing leadership skills with an interest in helping start an Interact club at BEHS.

Families of these students are just as impressive—one parent spoke with pride in her accented English about her child's plans to attend Harvard. Several students have expressed a strong desire to return after their first semester, and we've invited them back for a check-in in July.

We’re excited to see what the future holds for this amazing group!  A BIG thank you to Mario for leading the committee this year, and much appreciation to Pete for handling the room reservation, meal plans, brochures and many other behind-the-scenes items.

🎄 Ornament Sales Update

Tom has sold 20 ornaments so far! The next opportunity to purchase will be on Tuesday, June 25, at St. Anthony's Pasta Fundraiser. This BYOB event features homemade meatballs and sauce, promising a delightful evening.

Additionally, we'll have a presence at the West End Festival on August 16, and possibly at St. Anthony's Beer Fest and Muzzy Field baseball games. If you know of a retailer or event Tom could sell at please let him know!

Great News: Youth Exchange Program Update

Thanks to the dedicated efforts of Dave and John, we’re excited to share that the Bristol Board of Education has voted to waive tuition for the incoming student from France. With this approval, we’re moving forward with plans for the student to stay with the Watson family during the upcoming school year. A big thank-you to everyone who helped make this opportunity possible!
