First for everything - part of our group met at Good Friends and a handful met at Cravings - we made it work - this COG represents the group at Good Friends 
SHE SET HER GOALS HIGH AND DID NOT STOP UNTIL SHE COMPLETED THE MARATHON - ALL TO BENEFIT BARC MARY - TRULY LIVING THE #SERVICEABOVESELF MOTTO! Mary was thankful for the sign Rotary made - was at the perfect spot to give her motivation * race time 7 hrs 27 minutes * add that to her training runs of 16.5 miles * Mary is thankful to all that donated - many from this club - raised over $5600
NEXT week - October 19, 2021 - 8:00 AM we will hold our Bristol Rotary Club Meeting at Cravings 1158 Farmington Ave, Bristol, CT 06010 (to clarify October 26th will be back at Good Friends Diner - and we will continue to meet at Good Friends until all is discussed and voted upon)

Patti- OPPORTUNITY TO SHARE OUR CLUB - and be FESTIVE - Bristol Parks and Rec is having a scarecrow competition - does our club want to build a Rotary Scarecrow?
 Judi Ann - shared an idea to honor veterans - the idea is to give vouchers for veterans to have breakfast John Cassidy - looking for a yummy place for seafood dinner - try out Johnny B's Roadside Saloon - 1457 Meriden Rd, Wolcott CT, also eating on the submarine will be in the Spring
Turkey drive- Liberty bank account open. We will collect for Meals for neighbors. collection dates are from Oct 12th to Nov 20th, we will set up a time to collect at S&S
