To honor our veterans, we read a Memorial Day prayer and we had a moment of silence.
We had a very special guest drop in on us today. His name is John Vivian and he's the past president of the Hawks Prairie Rotary club in the state of Washington. He's traveling the country in his RV and he looked us up online and wanted to pay us a visit. He brought his club flag, and as you can see in the photo we edid an xchange. It was great to hear all the good things that they're doing. It was a pleasure hosting John today.
This coming Tuesday, June 2nd. our meeting will take place at Bristol Central High School. We are being hosted by the Interact Club. The meeting will be starting at 7:40. It's $6.00 a person to cover the cost of breakfast. Looking forward to you seeing you there. It's always a very enlightening and special visit.
Don't forget to mark your calendars.
This is always been a great event to attend. Remember there are fireworks at the end. If you get there early enough when the gates open at 4:30 PM, you'll be able to go onto the field and hold onto the great large American flag. The website for purchasing tickets is on this flyer. Hope we'll have a good showing.
For those you reviewed that love lobster this might be a great event to attend up in Glastonbury. Use the QR code to purchase tickets..
