Countdown time for the Mum A Thon
Highlights for this week:
* We have over 180 people signed up to run/walk - good news!
* Race bags are ready for pick up at the senior center - will need 6 large boxes, Mary has 3
* A sign up sheet was passed around for jobs such as: picking up food items for race, picking up blow up from Fleet Feet in West Hartford, stopping at Panara for day old bread
* We will set up for the race on Saturday, October 26 9:00-11:00 AM
* We are still looking for raffle prizes
* Ray's CARSTAR will bring the pink bug to the race - for $5 people can sign their name or loved ones name
* This weekend a Bristol Rotary team will pick up mums and hay bales from the Hartford road race - wear rotary shirt - get there at 1 (we will aim to park at CT Light + Power on 266 Pearl Street)
*If you have longer extension cords we would like to borrow for race

Dale worked hours on our new Scholarship Committee by laws. The Club accepted the changes and will file the new laws with the State of Connecticut. THANK YOU for your work Dale!!! Mario is officially stepping down as Scholarship Committee President. We thank Mario for all his work throughout the years. He will still be involved and for that we are greatful.
