John opened the meeting with the pledge and 4-way test followed by a reading by Bob DuPont
The meeting focused on fall Community updates and upcoming events:
September 19, 2024 - 12:00 - Hidden Cafe Logo reveal
September 27, 2024 - Farmer's Market is doing a cooking Demo, sponsored by Wheeler Clinic, using fresh produce from the farmers.  
September 27, 28, and 29 - Tom will sell ornaments at the Mum festival.  Come by and sit for an hour or two to help or give him a break - Opportunity to Serve
October 5, 2024 -  New Britain roadrace...good chance to see another race group in action - Opportunity to Prepare 
October 15, 2024 - Short Rotary meeting, followed by presentation and vote on Scholarship Fund's new By-laws.
Also, there is an open seat on the scholarship committee to replace John, since he is sitting President on that committee.

October 21, 2024 - Zion Meal, menu and need of volunteers TBD next meeting Opportunity to Serve
Early November -  Past Presidents dinner and new member event--Max's on Stafford Ave.
 
Dave Radcliff reported that our storage cube on Lake Ave will be going up $20/month for a 5 x 10.  He asked for the group to authorize him to talk to former Broad St. storage or others for a better monthly fee.

Andrea:  Went to drag races and is so hooked on her Jeep, she is looking for a winter beater used jeep.
Judi ann:  For Dales' endless work on the scholarship funds by laws and articles.  Also prayers for Michelle
John:  For Michelle, the weather and the fighting Irish, Opportunity for fun:
