Mario joined our meeting + gave a scholarship committee update. Mario has been a Bristol Rotarian since 1989, focuses on the scholarship committee, and brings with him the history of the scholarship. Rotary helped Karl J. Schwartz obtain a patten for the Porta Potty, he left a couple million to the club and in 2010 the scholarship program began. With the help of smart investing the Bristol Rotary has given out over 2.62 million dollars over the last 14 years, 121 scholarships in total
