Nancy Shannon of HRA, who helps with dial a ride was our 2nd guest speaker today. Works within the city limits. They have one full-time driver and one part-time driver. They help seniors go to doctors, and shopping plazas, they book everyone 15 minutes apart. There is a 96-year-old man who goes dancing on Tuesdays at the Senior Center The ride is free. ADA costs $3.50,
Can book ride to Dr appt up to a week ahead.
Hours: 8:30-4:30, state and federal funding,
For 55 or older and disabled. Follows bus routes.
