Pledge, 4-way test + and in place of thought of the day we celebrated that Amanda is back!
Ornaments are a hit!
Tom sold ornaments on the opening day of the Bristol Farmers Market - he sold 9 with others looking forward to purchasing next week—total sold thus far: 25 ornaments.  As a reminder, Tom will have ornaments at the next meeting - cash or Venmo for payment. Meeting Discussions...
Judi Ann a fundraiser idea.  She also shared how York Maine Rotary raffles off a house rental.  Ken brought in an idea from Brandford Rotary - they hold a Braffle - a chance to win gift cards from 50 local restaurants.  https://patch.com/connecticut/branford/braffle-back-wildly-popular-rotary-club-fundraiser-underway-nowThere are lots of ideas out there...our club needs to decide if we want to do the pizza challenge, mini golf tournament, or a new-to-us fundraiser!
HAPPY / SAD bucks
Blaise, Knights of Columbus, council #9, is holding a raffle Aug 23-24, enter for a chance to win a $500-$750-$1000 Amex card, tickets are $20 each - will be back 7/16 if interested in purchasing!  Happy for our upcoming Royal Caribbean 2-week trip to Alaska

Whit, sad for the "yoyos" that came out during Travelers golf tournament, ruined a green, scared people, celebrated 50th wedding anniversary, traveled to Normandy, moved - an unforgettable experience, thank you Judi for serving as President this past year
Dave, happy for the great Travelers tournament, great golf, and happy events for Prudence Crandall and Men and Boys over for the season
Norm, happy for the weather, sad deer ate all my flowers, did not touch neighbors flowers!
Ken, deer likes Norms flowers!  thank you Judi for serving as President this past year
Mary, nice vacation on our boat, celebrated daughter's birthday, going to be a grandma in December, happy for the conference earlier this month, bumped into my daughter-in-law in the airport, sat with her on the plane
Dale, today's discussion reminded me of a quote:
did a national amateur radio event this past, very hot, weekend.   Operated 24 hours in Greenfield township, with thunderstorms, had a lot of contacts with other ham clubs. Used 10 watts rather than 100 watts, connected with morose saw mom on the way to and from the event, thank you, Judi, for serving as President this past year
Tom, hydrangeas are beautiful this year, my son is home from Vietnam for one month
Heather. My aunt is coming to visit from Florida
Laura - no dollars for happy bucks -I was told to add this to cog :)
Judi, good morning to all of us. Anticipate John back by 7/2, I believe our club has grown stronger than ever, a good year ahead of us, thank you for all enduring the challenges, I love you all!
