The Bristol Rotary Scholarship committee met last night, October 24, 2022
Jim reported next year the Fund will offer 7 scholarships at $8,000 each renewable for 3 years, this is down from 10 scholarships
The fund took a large hit and the committee determined it was best to keep the amount given the same and lower the number of scholarship winners.
A summary report of the amount given was distributed to the membership, for a copy contact Jim at 203-509-8555
This is the last week of the Farmer's Market.  Jim thanked everyone for their hard work over the last 20 weeks.
We succeeded in raising 15,000, 5K was from the Family Fun Mini golf day.
Thank you to Terry for picking up the checks.
The club voted on renting a 5X10 storage unit, paid in part by the club and scholarship committee.
This climate-controlled shed would house our records, rents, tables, etc.
The Farmers Market storage Pod will be taken away on Tuesday.
Everyone agreed the Farmer's Market provides good visibility,
next year more of a focus on recruiting more members.
Planning will begin earlier next year (January) to ensure early sponsorship and food trucks are able to book a spot early
