Bristol Rotary Club Offers
Mini-Grants to Non-Profits
BRISTOL — In keeping with its longstanding tradition of philanthropy, the Bristol Rotary Club is accepting applications for small grants to non-profit organizations and programs serving local youth.
The deadline for mini-grants is May 24, 2024.
The applications, which are a short series of questions for grant seekers, are due by April 24th. They can be handed into any club member or emailed to the club at jcassidy@courant.com or mailed to the club at this address: Bristol Rotary Club, P.O. Box 1674, Bristol, CT 06011-1674.
Bristol Rotary Club has been awarded grants since 1987. Past grant recipients include the Bristol Girls Little League Softball program, the American Clock and Watch Museum, the Barnes Nature Center, and the Bristol Historical Society.
Founded in 1927, the Bristol Rotary Club is a growing and dynamic service organization with a rich history in the town. The club built the accessible playscape at Page Park, regularly donates to the Bristol Public Library, raises money for the needy at Thanksgiving, volunteers for The Salvation Army at Christmas, and maintains trails at the Barnes Nature Center.
The club’s signature program is its scholarship program. Each spring, the Bristol Rotary Club gives out about $300,000 to recipients of its college scholarship programs.
